" I had practised yoga and meditation on and off for years, but plunged deeper into it in 2005, when I lost my father. It was through yoga that I found a way to cope and then decided to further my study of yoga and self-healing in Thailand when my teacher at the time out of the blue offered to train me. I initially went Thailand for 6 months, I ended up staying about 4 years...
Through my teaching, I hope to offer my students the tools that have helped me so much in the past, and continue to enhance my life today as I continue to discover the ingeniousness of our bodies and what they can do. When life is tough and feels like a roller coaster of challenges, difficulties, relentless pressure and upsets, yoga WILL help.
I strive to channel my own life lessons and experiences from the heart to offer my students authenticity in the ways yoga has helped me in this and other very difficult parts of my life.
My sessions focus on breath and movement that are not always classical "yoga " moves, but just what feels good at the time, blended with elements of LISTENING and TALKING to your body as you would a close friend. SURRENDER to what it communicates to you, mostly it's craving for relaxation and to be heard- this truly is the best medicine you can give yourself...
